In Mark 12:31 we are instructed to love our neighbors as ourselves. Every Saturday that is our intent, as we strive to love each family we see, just as Jesus did.

What started as assisting with a food pickup on Saturdays, has turned into an EVERY SATURDAY affair where we distribute food to anyone in need.

We don't ask for zip codes or to show financial need. In John 6:12 Jesus told his disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.”

Through our partnerships with various local ministries and retail outlets, we do just that. We gather and make sure nothing is wasted.

We began as a labor of for Tim and Deena Collier has blossomed into so much more. Now a dedicated team of volunteers join with the Collier's weekly to help battle nutritional insecurity in the Pikes Peak region.

ABOUT

The Gleaning COS was founded in 2021, although it was birthed many years before. The old saying "you don't know until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes" holds true for the Colliers.

A time when they needed community support, it was available, but not always accessible. One would have to take off work to make it to a weekday food bank, or had the wrong zip code.

When the opportunity to give back arose, nothing was going to be able to deter them. While running into challenges, they have stepped up every time to meet them head-on.
